Why we built this

Vending Finder Started With a Simple Frustration

Nobody should have to wander around an unfamiliar building hoping to stumble across a vending machine. There had to be a better way. So we built one.

The Story

The Problem Was Too Obvious to Ignore

Vending machines are everywhere. Office buildings, university campuses, hospitals, transit hubs, sports complexes, hotels. They are part of daily life for millions of people. And yet there was no reliable way to find one when you actually needed it.

Not a map. Not a directory. Not even a basic search tool that covered more than one or two locations. That is the gap Vending Finder was built to close.

The Mission

One Sentence. That Is All It Takes.

Make every vending machine in the world findable by anyone who needs it.

Every decision we make comes back to that one sentence. No complicated vision statement. No layered objectives.

Why Community

No Company Could Build This Alone

The only way to build a map that actually reflects the real world is to involve the people who live and work in it every day.

Vending Finder is built on that idea. Every machine on the map was added by a real person who found it in a real place. Every report that keeps the data accurate comes from a user who noticed something had changed.

The community is not a feature of Vending Finder. It is the reason Vending Finder works at all.

Crowdsourced Does Not Mean Unverified

At Vending Finder, every single submission goes through a review before it reaches the map. The team checks each one for accuracy, correct placement, and whether it duplicates something already listed. Nothing goes live without that check.

On top of that, the community itself acts as a continuous quality layer. Users report machines that are broken, missing, out of stock, or incorrectly placed. The listing updates automatically.

A map that earns trust over time rather than losing it.

Accessibility

Finding a Vending Machine Should Never Be a Challenge for Anyone

Accessibility is not an afterthought in Vending Finder. It is built into every listing from the start. Every machine on the map can carry detailed accessibility information: whether it has a low reach panel, whether the area around it is wheelchair accessible, whether the payment terminal is usable for everyone.

What Drives Everything

A Map That Gets Better Every Single Day

Most products peak at launch and gradually fall behind. A community-powered map works the other way around. Every new user who downloads Vending Finder has the potential to add machines nobody else has found yet. Every report filed makes the data more accurate.

Vending Finder is designed to improve with use. The more people engage with it, the more useful it becomes for the next person who opens it.

Be Part of What Makes This Work

Every person who downloads Vending Finder and contributes to the map is helping build something genuinely useful for their community. Find machines near you. Add the ones that are missing.
